Sheree Edwards-Garner brings more than 14 years of legal experience to the firm with an extensive background in both litigation and policy work for global and domestic corporations. From a litigation standpoint, Sheree has focused on complex business tort matters in state and federal court, with extensive experience in trials, depositions, motions hearings, and mediations.


From the policy perspective, Sheree is highly experienced in identifying and analyzing emerging federal, state, and local legislative and regulatory issues, and developing industry positions; and has served as a key representative before legislative committees and other regulatory agency bodies. As a respected industry influencer and registered federal lobbyist, Sheree has cultivated and maintained effective working relationships with elected officials and opinion and public policy leaders at all levels of government, and has managed policy priorities through engagement with stakeholders via industry associations and coalition partnerships. She has also supervised multi-member teams of outside counsel, consultants, lobbyists, government relations and public affairs firms, as well as led professional contract procurement efforts.




Prior to Garner Stith Gray, Sheree was Regional Director & Counsel for national trade associations with portfolios in food and beverage manufacturing, equipment manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality and consumer product retail industries, as well as served as Counsel for the Detroit City Council. She is also a former adjunct professor of constitutional law at Wayne State University.
